I seem to have had misplaced this journal. No matter, I was able to finish the changes to my sophomore manuscript and sent it off to my publisher, who seems to like it. It shows promise, and assuming all goes to plan, it will be on shelves by the end of October. It's called The Wife of Death, and takes place in 16th century England. It is, like my last, another historical fiction piece. I think...It should do well enough.

Now that that is done with, I think I need another trip. The question is, where would I like to go?

It does sound like rather a lovely book.

I hope it does well. I could send you a copy, once they begin publishing, if you'd like?

Oh, that would be lovely! You certainly don't have to, but I always enjoy new reading material, thank you!

It would be no trouble at all! And if you like it, hopefully you'd be interested in my other novels!

Oh, I'm sure I would be, really. I have so much free time on my hands right now, I need something to keep me entertained.

Oh, really? Would you like to come over for tea sometime?

Oh, that would be lovely! The bright side of so much time is that I am learning the layout of this place backwards and forwards, but I am not used to so much time spent alone. In France I was often with friends or there were people about.

And now I am rambling, but yes, I would love tea! Merci!

One of the advantages to having my siblings near, I've found, is that there is very nearly always company if I so wish it. You're always welcome to stop by our flat for a visit, if you ever happen to find yourself a bit lonely!

I would certainly enjoy that. If there are days that work better for you, my schedule is often quite free.

My time is my own; one of the lovely things I've found about my writing is that I can do that at any time, so my schedule is free as well. Perhaps one day this week?

That sounds perfect. Maybe Thursday evening or Friday afternoon?

Either of those would be perfect. Just let me know.
